First post in 2005
My reveillon was pretty boring – we came back to Mount Vernon, and at 11:30 my mom and Suzana started watching a Hispanic channel that was filming the Times Square (they don’t have CNN here). At almost midnight I clicked “next” (winamp) and the first song I listed to in 2005 was Pink’s Save Me. Lol Then my mom kinda hugged me, but she also kinda chocked me, so I started coughing a lot… And voila. 2005.
I fell asleep soon after that and now I am here. It’s a beautiful day, (winter didn’t come to NY this year – really) and I actually kinda like being here in Mount Vernon.
Yesterday mom and I went to AJ Wright. We took a cab to get there, shopped for quite a while, and at around 5pm we decided to go home. But we couldn’t find a cab and none of the busses around went to Mount Vernon. It was a bit stressful. Obviously, taxi drivers were at home with their families, or at a bar drinking – or whatever – but they sure weren’t driving around and working. Thankfully, my mom called a friend of hers to ask for help and she came pick us up!
I bough a cute little kit with a 4-toothbrush holder, soap holder, and liquid soap holder. Its perfect for college (I share a sink room with 3 other girls). AND its really pretty and resistant, so I will keep it forever, and when I have my own house, I wont have to worry about buying those things!
I miss lazy vacation days. I miss just laying on the couch all day, watching TV, eating, going to my room to read, reading for a while but falling asleep… hmmm nice and lazy… up to this day, my days have been busy and somewhat useful! I am not used to all this usefulness! On the other hand, its 11:11am now, and I am just laying here, writing this, listening to my dear iPod... i am having a lazy day!!
